“The Property” of China Large-scale Instrument and Equipment Has Been Figured Out

　    According to Southern Urban Daily, at present, in China, “the property” of large-scale instrument and equipment, owned by more than 3600 colleges and universities, scientific research institutions and some central enterprises, has been figured out, the database has been established initially, the number of instrument and equipment stored reach 67 thousand, with total value of more than 110 billion yuan. 

　　On this basis, pilot work that scientific research instruments are open to the society has been carried out as well. CAS’ s nearly 4000 set large-scale instrument and equipment are open and shared to the public, accumulatively offering service for 7010 thousand hours; the number of small and micro businesses joined in Shandong Instrument and Facility Collaboration Network reach 3248; in Hubei province, 870 labs, 7769 set of instrument and equipment have open-door service. 

　　Currently, Ministry of Science and Technology established united promotion mechanism together with 22 departments, small and micro businesses can use large-scale scientific research instrument conveniently and inexpensively.
